For this project, I was tasked with creating an app for children within the age range of 2 to 10. The app needed to be some form of learning exercise for the kids. I used Adobe XD to do digital wireframes of the different screens, and eventually create a prototype.
My app concept was “BreezeBlox”, a jungle-themed logic puzzle game. The child had to navigate a chosen animal character through a jungle maze in order to reach the treasure chest at the end. However, the child had to demonstrate critical thinking to solve the puzzle because there were various dead ends.
01 / BreezeBlox App Design
For this project, I had to redesign an existing company’s website. I chose to redesign the travel website, TripTuner. This website shows photos and information about hundreds of different vacation destinations. The site’s unique feature are their “tuners”, which allow visitors to turn different dials to indicate importance of specific travel preferences. I wanted to give the site a sleek, luxurious feeling, since most of the destinations were beautiful locales. I kept the tuners, but gave them an easier user interface. I created the website prototype in Adobe XD.
02 / TripTuner Website Redesign
I redesigned the website for WB Construction in Auburn, Alabama at my web design job. I wanted to focus on making the information on the website clear and easy to access.
