Brand Identity & Advertisements
01 / aMends Sustainable Fashion
This branding project was my college senior project. For my project, I decided to create a sustainable clothing brand, named aMends. The name is a play on words: making amends with the earth, as well as tying it back into clothing with "mends". The brand is sustainable because we would only use materials that are ethically sourced, and ensure safe and fair factory working conditions. In contrast to their competitors, aMends’ clothing is bright and expressive so you can show off your style while still feeling great about how it was produced. aMends’ main goal is to give a fun and vivid spin on sustainability, therefore, the branding seeks to unite these ideas. For this project, I explored branding, identity, packaging, advertisement and web design, as well as merchandise design.
Brainquility is a company I created focusing on helping people find the best mental health professional for their specific needs. I wanted the brand to feel accepting, peaceful, and positive, so I used cool blues and purples in a flowing gradient. The Brainquility logo represents two individuals having a conversation, to suggest the idea of therapists helping patients. The stationary suite includes an envelope, letterhead, business card, and pocket folder.

03 / Give Hope, Fight Poverty Logo Redesign
I chose a non-profit organization called Give Hope, Fight Poverty to redesign their logo. This organization designs service-learning programs in rural areas in Swaziland South Africa, so I wanted my logo to feel hopeful and warm. My concept for the logo came about after doing word associations for the organization, focusing on the words “growth”, “warmth”, and “interconnectedness”. The design features an organic line formation interacting with the letters “GHFP”. There are sun rays emanating above the “GH” to suggest the warmth that the company brings to the people they help.
I chose to design a series of three advertisements for the International UFO Museum in Roswell, New Mexico. The advertisements are promoting three IMAX movies that the museum is premiering. I manipulated stills from different alien movies, and created a new logo for the museum. I used these elements, as well as typography that seemed space-themed to create a print ad, an outdoor ad, and a digital ad.
